Segmentation of Local Labour Markets by Jacques-François Thisse and Yves Zenou
The segmentation and geographical compartmentalisation of the labour market are clearly and empirically established facts. This article presents and assesses the main explanations put forward, which all assume that the work force is heterogeneous.
