Résumé anglais ABOUT SOME RECENT WORKS ON LITERARY CENSORSHIP IN THE SOVIET UNION (1917-1953) The article is based on some récent works concerning literary censorship in the Soviet Union (1917-1953). It focuses on the major issues emerging in this field of research, situated at the crossroads of several disciplines and marked by historiographical debates about the nature of the Soviet régime. In this perspective, one must study more thoroughly the institu- tional history of the administration in charge of censorship in the USSR, the Glavlit (founded in 1922), in order to evaluate more accurately its role and importance. In the future, it seems necessary to show how censorship could be integrated into a history of the Russian literature of the Soviet period, not only as an element of this literature's institutional workings, but also as a factor of internal evolution.
