The article suggests the relevance of differentiating between tropes of terror and tropes of horror for the comparison between narratives of Argentine State Terrorism and narratives of the Holocaust, respectively. To this end, after recalling some horror tropes in narratives by R. Piglia, M. Lynch, R. Fogwill, L. Valenzuela, J.
