L'article analyse l'originalité de la contribution de Kracauer et Benjamin à l'analyse du national-socialisme. Les deux auteurs partent d'une théorie des médias modernes et montrent que ceux-ci sont mis au service d'une « esthétisation du politique » (Benjamin) et de la simulation d'une « peudo-réalité » (Kracauer) derrière laquelle il y a une volonté nihiliste de destruction. Propaganda and Aestheticisation of Politics in Kracauer and Benjamin The article analyses the originality of Kracauer and Benjamin's contribution to the analysis of National Socialism. The two authors start from a theory of modern media and show that they are put at the service of an ‘aestheticization of politics' (Benjamin) and the simulation of a ‘peudo-reality' (Kracauer) behind which there is a nihilistic will to destroy.
