The Left, the crisis and immigration (1930s, 1980s), Olivier Milza.
Twice, in 1936 and 1981, the French Left in power was faced with the problem of immigration amplified by the period of crisis. The Left was obliged to make deep changes in its previous convictions, analyses and statements.
