CHOIX IDÉOLOGIQUES, ATTITUDES POLITIQUES DES PRÉADOLESCENTS ET CONTEXTE POLITIQUE, par ELISABETH DUPOIRIER et ANNICK PERCHERON
Le contexte politique global participe avec d'autres facteurs mieux connus (famille, parents, école) à la formation des opinions et des attitudes des préadolescents. L'étude se propose d'isoler le rôle spécifique de cette variable. Elle fait apparaître que l'environnement global dans lequel l'enfant fait ses expériences sociales influe à la fois sur la nature de ses choix idéologiques et ses représentations du monde politique. Pour mesurer l'influence du contexte au niveau d'une unité politiquement homogène ? la commune ? différents indicateurs de caractérisation politique ont été établis.

IDEOLOGICAL CHOICES AND POLITICAL ATTITUDES OF PREADOLESCENTS AND THE POLITICAL CONTEXT, by ELISABETH DUPOIRIER and ANNICK PERCHERON
The overall political context contributes, together with other better known factors (family, parents, school), to the shaping of the opinions and attitudes of preadolescents. The aim of the present study is to focus on the specific role of this variable. It shows that the overall environment in which a child lives his social experiences influences both the nature of his ideological choices and his conception of the political world. Various indicators of political characterization were established in order to assess the influence of context in the case of a politically homogeneous unit ? the commune.
