LES STRUCTURES DU VOTE DE GAUCHE A PARIS (1965-1977), par FRANCOIS PLATONE
La relative dégradation des positions du PCF n'affecte pas les propriétés de son implantation qui font de lui l'élément déterminant de la structure de la gauche à Paris, en en reproduisant les caractères : structure contrastée, stable, enracinée dans l'histoire et étroitement liée à la structure sociale parisienne. A l'inverse, dans un contexte d'évolution favorable en niveau, la structure d'implantation du PS et de ses alliés est diffuse, instable, ne semble pas liée de façon privilégiée à telle ou telle couche de la population et ne présente qu'une parenté approximative avec la structure d'ensemble de la gauche parisienne.

THE STRUCTURES OF THE LEFT-WING VOTE IN PARIS (1965-1977), by FRANÇOIS PLATONE
The relative decline in the positions of the French Communist Party do not alter the way it is rooted, which makes it the decisive element in the structure of the Left in Paris in that it has the same characteristics : contrasting, stable, rooted in history and closely linked with the Parisian social structure. Conversely, and in the context of a favourable trend as regards level, the structure of the Socialist Party and of its allies is disparate, unstable, does not seem to have any preferential links with a particular population group and has only an approximate relationship with the overall structure of the Parisian Left.
