Raymond Ledrut : The unemployed : Social weakness and feeling of weakness.
The social strength or the social weakness of an individual can be defined by certain capacities or characteristics of a given society. The social weakness of the salaried worker depends in large part on the nature of his general capacity for work, a function especially of age, sex, qualifications, state of health and profession. The present study deals with the social weakness of Toulouse unemployed who were receving compensation and resulted from an investigation conducted by interviews after a selected cross-section had been determined. The study stresses the relation between social weakness and the feeling of weakness. The effect of age on this feeling is particularly important. Source : Éditeur (via Persée) |
