Résumé« Contourner » le journalisme professionnel sur internet renvoie, le plus souvent, à l'avènement d'un journalisme « participatif », ou encore à la multiplication de productions « citoyennes » ou « ordinaires ». À partir d'une analyse du site journalistique Médiapart, nous voudrions montrer ici que « contourner » le journalisme, c'est également composer avec la prolifération des échanges entre journalistes et lecteurs, permise par le web 2.0, pour redimensionner, affirmer et raffermir les frontières de cette profession. Médiapart, par son projet politique, son modèle économique, la structure de sa plate-forme technique, et par la multiplication des débats qu'il rend possible et contribue à animer, invite en effet à examiner comment se conteste mais aussi se rétablit la distance entre le professionnel et l'amateur. The fact of “bypassing” professional journalism on internet usually stems from the advent of a «participative» journalism and the proliferation of “citizen” or “ordinary” productions. Based on an analysis of the journalistic website Médiapart, the authors of this article show that “bypassing” journalism is also a matter of coming to terms with the proliferation of interactions between journalists and readers that has become possible with the web 2.0, in order to reshape and assert the boundaries of this profession. Médiapart, with its political project, its economic model and the structure of its technical platform, and with the multiplication of the debates that it allows for and facilitates, is an ideal case for examining how the distance between professionals and amateurs is challenged and restored.
