| Résumé |
Après un effacement dans les années 1990, la Russie effectue un retour en force en Asie centrale, notamment par le biais de la question migratoire. On estime à environ 2 millions les travailleurs saisonniers originaires du Tadjikistan, du Kirghizstan et d'Ouzbékistan travaillant, majoritairement illégalement, en Russie. Ils jouent un rôle économique croissant en Russie du fait du manque de main-d'œuvre qui frappe la Fédération. Ils ont un impact économique et social encore plus important en Asie centrale, puisqu'ils envoient à des populations appauvries des revenus réguliers et conséquents. Ces migrations de travail permettent ainsi d'absorber une partie du contrecoup économique et social de la disparition de l'URSS et contribuent à reformuler les complexes rapports entre l'ancien centre et son ancienne périphérie. After a withdrawal during the 1990's, Russia is becoming more influential in Central Asia, and notably by means of the migratory issue. In Russia, migrant workers from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are estimated to be 2 millions, who predominantly work illegally. They hold a growing economic role in Russia, on account of the lack of workers in the Federation. They have an even more important economic and social impact in Central Asia, where their remittances, sent to impoverished populations, account for a regular and significant source of income. The working migration helps lessen a part of the economic and social impact of the Soviet Union's collapse and plays a part in the redefinition of the complicated relations between the former centre and its former periphery.
