V. Görög-Karady — ~~Ethnic Stereotypes and Colonial Domination: the White Man's Image in African Oral Literature~~. An analysis of the qualities and faults attributed to the white people in African oral texts, collected mainly during the colonial heyday, shows them to be quite close to the colonial European self-image stereotypes.
