Dans la continuité du dossier consacré, en juin dernier, à « l'affaire Zongo », Politique africaine propose ce mois-ci un point de vue analytique sur la dynamique de mobilisation de la société civile burkinabè. Un an après la disparition du journaliste, Augustin Loada montre que cet assassinat a contribué notablement à l'affirmation politique de la société civile, tout en soulignant les ambivalences de ce mouvement. Reflections on Civil Society in Africa in post-Zongo Burkina Faso Following up on articles consecrated to the « Zongo affair » in Politique africaine (June 1999), the journal now offers an analysis of the mobilization of civil society in Burkina Faso. One year after the disappearance of this journalist, this author shows how the assassination has contributed to the political affirmation of civil society, while underscoring the ambiguities of this movement.
