La profession enseignante est une profession à la recherché d'identité. Peut-on parler du travail d'enseignant comme d'une profession ? Quelles sont les caractéristiques des contextes socio-organisationnel, professionnel et pédagogique dans lesquels l'enseignant agit et quelles sont leurs implications pour définir la profession enseignante ? Voici quelques questions posées dans cet article qui essaie d'offrir des réponses (incomplètes, bien entendu). Le point de départ de l'article est marqué par la considération de l'activité des enseignants comme une semi-profession et la formulation d'arguments pour soutenir cette assertion. ? Professionalization of the Rumanian teachers and vocational identity. A sociological standpoint Being a teacher is an occupation which encourages its actors to look for an identity. Can this job be thought of as an occupation ? What are the characteristics of the sociological and organizational, contexts, the professional and educational ones in which a teacher acts and what is their consequences to to define the job. Here are a few questions raised in the following article which tries to bring answers (obviously opened ones). The beginning of the article stresses on the importance of the activity as a teacher being considered as half and it also stresses on the writing of arguments to support this assert.
