Louis Moreau de Bellaing, Empiricism in Sociology : A Critique
If sociological empiricism has proved to be necessary and fruitful, it has been diverted from its most important objectives by many investigators who ignore the fact their task should be to furnish qualitative and quantitative data and make a preliminary interpretation of it.
