The effects of the internationalization of the capitalist economy on the crisis and future of union movements is evident in two areas : the competition between workers, on the one hand, and within an ideological-political space, on the other hand. The new configuration of the world economy, which is still taking shape, does not allow for trade-unionism on a national level and does not encourage its establishment on any other level.
