The independant cinema confronts severe economic problems and haphazard distribution, but an informal networks of production and distribution exists and is continually enriched. Among the many active associations struggling to maintain such alternative productions is "D 'un cinéma l'autre " (« From One Cinema to Another ») which has existed since 1993.
