Konstantin LAPPO-DANILEVSKII, Viacheslav Ivanov and Aleksei Kruchenykh in a debate on Nietzsche and Dostoevskii.
This article relates, on basis of hitherto unpublished documents, a little-known episode in the cultural life of Baku after the Revolution : a debate that took place at a session of the chair of foreign literatures of the Baku University, on May 9, 1921. Viacheslav Ivanov 's argumentation presents a particular interest because it contains an analysis of the main concepts of Dostoevskii's philosophy. Enclosed herewith are published several archival documents among which an impromptu in verse of A. Kruchenykh addressed to Viacheslav Ivanov. Source : Éditeur (via Persée) |
