The Highlands of the French Central Massive are regularly affected by localized violent storms, resulting in unexpected floods. Limited knowledge of concerned streams and the dispersion of measure instruments affect the credibility of quantitative results, swifty published and recapitulated by the regional and ever sensationalist press.
