The aim of the TGV is not to serve the regions it crosses between Paris and Lyon. Two stations have however been set up in Le Creusot and Mâcon. The authors wonder about the way these stations will be connected with the non-TGV network (rail connections), about the towns they serve (town-station links), and about their roles as centres of coach-networks.
