Cet article propose de mettre en évidence la dynamique intellectuelle qui a lié, pendant 25 ans, Communication & langages et Gérard Blanchard (1927-1994), membre fondateur et figure emblématique de la revue qui a fêté ses 50 ans en 2012. À cette occasion, Communication & langages a réuni une équipe de trois doctorants afin que soient évalués le positionnement et le poids de Blanchard dans la revue. Le propos s'articule autour de trois axes permettant d'entrer progressivement dans la mise en œuvre de sa pensée. C'est par le graphisme, véritable rubrique phare de la revue tant par son poids quantitatif que par la diversité des sujets qui y sont abordés, que se met en place le lien instituant entre Blanchard et la revue. Cette collaboration s'inscrit dans l'espace même de Communication & langages sous forme d'une démarche intellectuelle conçue comme système dont les modalités d'expression et d'appréhension sont toutes orientées autour des pratiques d'écriture. This article deals with the intellectual dynamism which was for 25 years the main link between Communication & langages and Gérard Blanchard (1927-1994). He was a founding member and an emblematic personality of its editorial board. 2012 marks the fiftieth year of Communication & langages. This is a great opportunity for three PhD candidates to evaluate Blanchard's status and influence within the journal. This article presents three directions which provide a step by step analysis of Banchard's thought process. Graphic design was the first step by which Blanchard established a connection with Communication & langages. Thanks to him, it turned up to be one of the leading section of the journal, both considering the volume of articles and the variety of the topics covered. The second direction elaborates on how Blanchard's ideas, built as a system, are all pointing towards writing practices. The third direction eventually shows how this system of ideas is applied in various ways and themes, providing rich material for exploration and analysis.
