Geography of control in the industry of the Lyons area Industrial concentration has had up to now harmful consequences on the economic functiuns of the Lyons area, since most of the head offices of the groups are located in Paris or abroad. However the industrial groups themselves are decentralizing their administrative structures, thus inducing a still limited but now negligible geographical decentralization.
