Planned Bequests in France: Assessment and Determinants,
by Sergio Perelman, Pierre Pestieau.
The purpose of this paper is to determine the proportion of planned bequests in France on the basis of a survey of the financial assets of 5600 households. These data are then analyzed to determine whether or not they correspond to our preconceived ideas on intentional legacies and whether or not they comply with some of the standard models of inheritance.
