Electronic-Based Automation in Small- and Medium-sized Firms: An Econometric Study,
by Bernard Franck, Olivier Gaussens.
This paper deals with the distribution of electronic-based automation of the production facilities in small and medium firms in the Basse Normandie Region. The size and specific dynamism of firms have a positive effect on distribution between firms. Small and medium-sized firms have difficulties in becoming acquainted with the latest technology, partially overcoming this handicap with their vitality.
