Résumé anglais The Exploitation Systems of San Juan de Uchucuanicu (Peru) and Mojsa-Huma (Bolivia) Communities. The national economic system has different effects on peasant communities depending upon their production systems and their socio-economic context. San Juan comuneros are integrated into the national economy through speculative fruit production. Because of the strong communal organization and resource management of San Juan, economic development will occur simultaneously for all the producers. Mojsa-Huma comuneros are integrated into the national economy through the labor market and its communal structures are weaker. In this community the economic development of some members will be at the expense of others, who have to migrate.
