À l'heure du 40e anniversaire de la Francophonie institutionnelle, on constate que cette dernière est devenue un acteur reconnu et respecté des relations internationales. Son action politique a été systématisée et renforcée depuis la Déclaration de Bamako en 2000. Au niveau international, la Déclaration de Bamako a permis à la Francophonie de contribuer au sein de son espace au renforcement des normes et des mécanismes de protection et de sauvegarde de la démocratie, des droits de l'homme et de la paix, contributions qui continuent de motiver son action. At the 40th anniversary of the OIF, we see that it has become a recognized and respected actor of international relations. Its political action has been systematized and strengthened since the Declaration of Bamako in 2000. At the international level, the Bamako Declaration enabled the OIF to contribute in its space strengthening standards and mechanisms of protection and safeguard of the democracy, human rights and the peace, contributions which continue to justify its action.
