| Résumé |
Dans quelle mesure les méthodes de réalisation du cinéma documentaire apporteraient-elles au recueil des discours de l'expérience en SHS et notamment en SIC ? L'article engage un dialogue avec Chronique d'un été, film documentaire réalisé par Jean Rouch et Edgar Morin en 1961. La mise en dialogue entre pratique de recherche en SHS et pratique cinématographique permet à l'auteure d'interroger les limites aussi bien du dispositif mis en œuvre lors des entretiens compréhensifs, que des textes qui constituent les portraits. L'article propose ainsi une problématisation sur l'avant et l'après de l'écriture, sur le processus de rencontre et de communication avec la personne-personnage dont il est question – le travail empirique ou la mise en œuvre des dispositifs de modalisation du réel –, et sur la forme, le style, l'expérience que le portrait rend possible chez le lecteur-spectateur. To what extent the methods of documentary filmmaking would contribute to the collection of discourses on experience in social and human sciences, particularly in information and communication sciences ? The dialogue between research in social sciences and film practice (through the documentary film Chronique d'un été (Chronicle of a Summer), directed by Jean Rouch and Edgar Morin in 1961), allows the author to question the limits of the framework created during the comprehensive interviews and the texts that are the portraits. The article proposes thus a problematization of the before and the after of the writing process, questioning both the process of encounter and communication with the person-character interviewed – the empirical work or the framework that shapes reality – and the form, style and experience created by the reading of the portrait by the reader-spectator.
