The contribution analyses some literary and filmic texts which offer different modes of appropriation of the military dictatorships in order to show that literature and film serve different functions of making memory, fighting against forgetting, illuminating certain traumatic zones of this period and its repercussions in the present, asking for the possibilities of the coexistence of victims and offenders.
