L'article met en évidence l'impasse à la fois méthodologique et épistémologique dont participe l'explication analytique de la compréhension des communications interculturelles dans un cadre où la définition de l'interculturalité en tant qu'objet de connaissance échappe au jugement et au concept. L'issue préconisée est une approche nouvelle fondée sur les acquis de la philosophie des formes symboliques et de la phénoménologie herméneutique. Il s'agit de proposer le recours à des moyens théoriques permettant, d'une part, une compréhension élargie qui dépasse le seul retour à l'intention de l'agent d'une communication interculturelle et. d'autre part, une explication pertinente qui ne se limite plus simplement à la désignation des connexions de cette communication au monde environnant de sa genèse. The article highlights the impasse at the same time methodological and epistemologic al whose analytical explication of the comprehension of the interculturelles communications within a framework takes part where the definition of the interculturality as object of knowledge escapes front the judgement and the concept. The solution considered is a new approach founded on the assets of the philosophy of the forms symbolic Systems and hermeneutic phenomenology. The theoretical means suggested allow, on one hand. a widened understanding which exceeds the only return in aid of the agent of an intercultural communication and, on the other hand, the relevant explanation which does not limit itself any more simply to the name of the connections of this communication to the world surrounding with its genesis.
