Résumé anglais |
Using comic art specific codes, Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá deliver a tale about an obituary writer, who wishes to become a novelist and who inevitably dies at the end of each chapter. In Daytripper, the reader enters Brazilian landscapes and various physiognomies of death to discover a fictional puzzle, which is however an ode to life and friendship. By analyzing several pages, we will observe how the authors achieve a narrative that shows life's fragments, by efficiently and originally using concepts of comics' language, such as discontinuity and ellipsis.
