In this work I study the work of Precolumbina inspiration created by Gunther Gerzso (1915-2000), as the fundamental aesthetic turn which allowed the artist to express the life/death pulsions, and the duality creativity/destruction, as a metaphor of the dramatic historical context of the twentieth century and of his own personal history.
