| Résumé |
Partant de deux exemples cliniques, nous interrogeons la nature, la fonction et les conditions d'apparition de la figure du père idéal dans le discours des adolescents. Nous basant sur la théorie psychanalytique, les apports de J. Lacan en particulier, nous repérons le surgissement de cette figure par rapport à la reprise adolescentaire du complexe d'Œdipe et de ses aléas. Les catégories de l'imaginaire, du symbolique et du réel permettent d'y distinguer les différents rôles paternels. L'influence du père réel est soulignée, notamment l'importance de sa propre reconnaissance de la castration, dont le défaut favorise l'investissement du père idéal. La nature de ce dernier est ensuite interrogée à partir des concepts de moi idéal et d'idéal du moi, qui s'avèrent confondus dans la figure paternelle idéale. The Adolescent, the Ideal Father and the Real Father Using two clinical examples, the author examines the nature, the role and the conditions in which the ideal father figure emerges in the discourse of adolescents. Based on psychoanalytic theory, especially J. Lacan's contributions, the emergence of this figure is perceived with reference to a return in adolescence of the Oedipus complex and its hazards. The various paternal roles can then be defined within the categories of the Imaginary, the Symbolic and the Real. The influence of the real father is stressed, particularly the importance of his own recognition of castration, the lack of which favors the empowerment of the ideal father. The nature of the latter is then examined using the concepts of the ideal ego and the ego ideal, which are combined in the figure of the ideal father.
