Cet article offre une analyse systématique des ouvertures d'interactions médiatisées par visioconférence. Sur la base d'un corpus vidéo enregistré dans un hôpital français, l'article étudie les effets configurants des technologies sur l'organisation de l'interaction et en particulier sur les ouvertures de réunions. Il étudie aussi les activités qui précèdent et suivent ces ouvertures, en décrivant une organisation séquentielle spécifique dans laquelle les participants s'orientent vers « pré-ouvertures » et « commencements » comme moments distincts des « ouvertures » proprement dites. Leur analyse permet d'intégrer les contraintes relatives à la connexion des participants et à distinguer états de co-présence, connexion et co-participation, ainsi que la manière dont ils sont établis et maintenus. Opening and pre-opening of videophone meetings This article presents a systematic analysis of the opening of videoconference interactions. Based on a video corpus recorded in a French hospital, the article studies the configuring effects that technology has on the organization of interaction and, in particular, on the opening of meetings. It also examines the activities that precede and follow these openings, and describes a specific sequential organization in which the participants tend towards “pre-openings” and “beginnings” as distinct from “openings” per se. This analysis integrates the constraints related to participants' connectedness, and distinguishes states of co-presence, connection and co-participation, as well as the way in which they are established and maintained.
