Résumé anglais |
The Road, by Cormac Mc Carthy, provides the reader with a post-Apocalyptic landscape in which words no longer correspond to any reality whatsoever. The anonymous father and son traveling along the road are akin to godless prophets bound to keep on yet with no hope for a future. This article aims at analyzing the way meaning emerges in this wasteland, in spite of the inadequacy of language and of the seeming lack of transcendence. Source : Éditeur (via Cairn.info) |
