À travers leurs pratiques de chercheur et d'enseignante en psychologie sociale, les auteurs proposent une relecture de la technique d'entretien non directif de recherche à partir du regard psychosocial et du schéma ternaire sujet - alter - objet définis par Moscovici. Cette technique, qui implique la présence physique du chercheur, relève d'une situation d'interaction sociale et pose de fait des interrogations concernant la place qu'occupe ce dernier dans cet échange : qui est donc cet autrui pour le sujet et dans quelle mesure la représentation qu'il s'en fait détermine-t-elle les contenus recueillis lors d'entretiens ? Après une exploration des principaux paramètres de la situation d'entretien et de leur empreinte sur les matériaux recueillis, l'article portera sur un recueil possible de la parole du sujet à travers une approche compréhensive. Across work in both research and teaching within social psychology authors have recommended that the open ended interview method should be reconsidered in light of psychosocial approaches and in line of the composite representation of ‘subject-other-object' defined by Moscovici. This technique which takes account of the physical presence of the researcher, brings to light an interactive situation that calls into question the place occupied by the ‘object' in the exchange: who therefore is the other of the subject and to what extent is the representation that is made determined by the content of the discussion? After an exploration of the principle parameters of the interview situation and their influence in relation to material recalled, the article goes on to discuss a possible account of the words of the subject to achieve a more comprehensive approach.
