Le NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) donne la définition suivante du lean-manufacturing : « A systematic approach to identify and eliminating waste though continuous improvement, flowing the product at the pull of the customer in pursuit of perfection ». La méthode lean-manufacturing améliore les performances, réduit les coûts et élimine le gaspillage. Dans les industries fonctionnant en juste-à-temps, les différentes opérations dans le flux s'effectuent au même rythme basé sur le takt-time. Les principes du lean-manufacturing sont les suivants : valeur ajoutée, flux régulés par le takt time, flux tirés par le client et atteinte de la perfection. La méthode s'inspire de pratiques modernes de gestion comme le juste-à-temps, le fonctionnement en Kanban, Kaizen, Hoschin et 5S pour éliminer les gaspillages et les défauts dans le flux. L'article présente le lean-manufacturing dans différentes industries : la nécessité de standardiser, le calcul du takt-time, l'amélioration du taux de rendement global des équipements, la cartographie des flux dans l'entreprise et les méthodes de management permettant d'améliorer les organisations pilotées par la demande. The lean manufacturing in industries working in just-in-time with flow regulate by takt-time The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership's Lean Network offers the following definition of lean-manufacturing : « A systematic approach to identify and eliminating waste though continuous improvement, flowing the product at the pull of the customer in pursuit of perfection ». Lean-manufacturing improve business performance, reduce costs and eliminate waste. In industries with an organization in just in time and lean-manufacturing, the differents operations in the flow have the same rhythm based on the takt time. The principles of lean manufacturing are understanding customers value, value stream analysis, flow regulate with takt time, pull and perfection. The method encompasses a number of moderns practices, including just-in-time inventory and delivery, Kanban, Kaizen, Hoschin and 5S to eliminate the waste in the form of defects. The paper presents the lean manufacturing in differents industries : the necessity of standardization, the calculation of takt-time, the improvement of the overall efficiency equipment, the cartography of the flows in a manufacture and the management methods to improve the organization driven by demand.
