Cet article étudie certaines façons dont les populations construisent l'autochtonie. À partir d'une étude ethnographique menée entre 2009 et 2013 dans un village du Berry, l'auteur met en lumière un contexte original de construction de l'autochtonie où les relations sociales font intervenir des Portugais, installés dans la région dans les années 1960, des « vieilles familles » du village et des habitants plus récemment établis. Il montre ainsi comment chacun de ces acteurs fait valoir, par différents procédés, une présence légitime et un sentiment d'ancrage au village à travers leur investissement dans un pèlerinage local. This article is part of a study about the different ways populations build autochthony. Based on an ethnographic study led between 2009 and 2013 in a village in the Berry region, the author highlights an original situation of autochthony construction. In this context, Portuguese people who settled in the region in the 1960s, long-established families from the village, and more recently settled residents all interact socially. The author thus demonstrates how, through their commitment in a local pilgrimage and by using different methods, all of these protagonists assert their own rightful presence and a feeling of belonging to the village.
