| Résumé |
Cet article interroge les limites de l'approche globale de l'UE en prenant le
cas de la politique de non-prolifération commune face à l'Iran. En articulant
sociologie des secteurs et sociologie des rôles, nous avançons l'idée que la
mobilisation et l'abandon soudain de l'approche globale constituent l'objectivation de luttes inter- et intra-sectorielles qui s'inscrivent dans le contexte de
négociations internationales. À partir de cette reconstitution socio-historique
de la non-institutionnalisation de l'approche globale, nous démontrons que
l'institutionnalisation de l'Europe de la politique étrangère ne se fait pas forcément par l'« européanisation » de ses producteurs. Source : Éditeur (via Cairn.info) |

This article questions the limits of the EU's comprehensive approach in the case
of the common non-proliferation policy towards Iran. Combining sociology of
political sectors and role sociology, I elaborate the hypothesis that the mobilisation and the sudden abandon of the comprehensive approach constitute the
objectivation of inter- and intra-sectorial struggles taking place in the context
of international negotiations. Based on this socio-historic reconstruction of
the non-institutionalisation of the comprehensive approach, I illustrate that the
institutionalisation of European foreign policy is not necessarily the result of
