The aim of this article is to show the potential resources of concordance and textual analysis software (WORDCRUNCHER, TACT and DISCOTEXT) for translators. This type of analysis in context enables a faster, more systematic and therefore more effective handling of three main areas of the translator's work : comprehension of the field, reformulation and comparison of existing translations of the same text.
