Les formes de singularisation qui, depuis un siècle, qualifient Séraphine de Senlis comme créatrice « inspirée », indemne de toute éducation artistique, convoquent une pluralité d'imaginaires esthétiques et religieux, historiquement situés, qu'il convient de distinguer. Attentive aux lieux de leur énonciation, l'écriture cinématographique résout leur articulation conflictuelle dans un montage de points de vue sur des états de corps au travail, dont la coprésence relance les « mystères de la création » et l'épiphanie du tableau peint. Over the last century, the ways of singularizing Séraphine de Senlis as an “inspired” creator, untouched by any form of art training, summon up a number of aesthetic and religious fantasies, historically situated, which need to be differentiated. Attentive to the places where they were expressed, the cinematographic writing resolves the conflictual nature of their manifestation in a montage of different points of view on the states of the body at work, the co-presence of which revivifies the trope of the “mysteries of creation” and the epiphany of the painting.
