Dans cette étude, on cherchera à appréhender les récentes modalités théoriques et esthétiques du traitement dont l'économie, saisie aussi bien dans sa dimension factuelle ou sociale qu'en tant que métarécit de légitimation et que langage théorique spécifique, fait l'objet dans le roman espagnol actuel. En effet, depuis quelques années, on repère l'émergence d'un véritable tropisme économique, manifeste notamment au sein desdits « récits de la crise », un mouvement de saisie par la littérature dont il importe de caractériser les formes, les contours et les enjeux à la lumière d'un examen par l'exemple. On verra que les univers poétiques et les dispositifs énonciatifs mis en œuvre par des auteurs comme Belén Gopegui ou Isaac Rosa sont emblématiques d'un tel phénomène, dont la vigueur vient invalider le diagnostic d'une inimitié historique entre deux sphères longtemps perçues comme disjointes, voire proprement antinomiques ou incompatibles. This study aims at examining the recent theoretical and aesthetic modes of treatment of Economics which are discernible in Spanish novels of today, the former being understood as both a fact and a social given on the one hand, and as a legitimising meta-narrative, a specific theoretical sphere of speech on the other. Indeed, over the last few years, a genuine economic inclination has become gradually more cogent, notably within the so-called “crisis narratives,” and it testifies to literature's willingness to apprehend such matters in ways the forms, delineations, and impacts of which must now be characterised through the study of examples. We mean to show how the poetical worldviews and narrative tools brought into operation by such authors as Belén Gopegui or Isaac Rosa emblematise this phenomenon, which, as vibrant as it appears, invalidates the notion of a historic enmity between two spheres long perceived as separate, and even truly contradictory and incompatible.
