régionale consécutives aux indépendances, de
nombreuses expériences d'intégration ont été
promues au cours des années quatre-vingt-dix. Ces
nouveaux processus, fondés notamment sur la mise
e n œu v r e d e m u t a t i o n s o r g a n i s a t i o n n e l l e s,
structurelles et institutionnelles plus contraignantes,
et le rôle accru de l'extérieur réunissent-ils les
conditions pour que l'intégration contribue à
l'accélération du développement des économies

After failing in their attemps at local integration in the wake of the drive for independance in Africa, there were numerous experiments in the 90s, raising the question whether such new moves, partly based on enforcing more demanding organisationnal, structural and institutionnal changes, as well as the growing clout of non-domestic agencies are actually able to offer the necessary conditions for integration in an effort to help speed up the development of African economies.
