| Résumé anglais | This article analyses the emergence of new forms of social mobilisation against HIV/AIDS in China. The central authorities' engagement and the opening to international aid have allowed people living with HIV/AIDS to take part in anti-AIDS activities. The imperatives of participative development and the history of anti-AIDS militancy stemming from a global dynamic favour HIV carriers' quest for a democratic say despite the semi-authoritarian context. | |
