Dans les années 1920, les recherches sur le discours dialogique en Russie constitua un champ scientifique actif et interdisciplinaire. Préparée par les linguistes du xrxe siècle-début du XXe siècle (V. I. Dal', A. A. Potebnja, I. A. Baudouin de Courtenay, L. V. Scerba), qui aspiraient à trouver « la langue vivante », l'analyse fonctionnelle du dialogue fit converger les approches phonétiques / phonologiques, la théorie du langage poétique (OPOJAZ), l'histoire de la littérature et la stylistique littéraire (V. V. Vinogradov, Ju. N. Tynjanov) ; le modèle linguistique du dialogue (élaboré surout par L. P. Jakubinskij) fut repris par les philosophes (M. M. Baxtin) et les psychologues (L. S. Vygotskij). The investigation of dialogic discourse in Russia in the twenties constituted an active field of interdisciplinary research. Prepared by the linguists of the 19th C and the beginning of the 20th century (V. I. Dal', A. A. Potebnja, I. A. Baudouin de Courtenay, L. V. Scerba) who were searching for the « living language », the functional analysis of dialogue unified the phonetic /phonological approach with the theory of poetic language (OPOJAZ) and with the history of literature and literary stylistics (V. V. Vinogradov, Ju. N. Tynjanov) ; the linguistic model of dialogue (provided first of all by L. P. Jakubinskij) was then taken over by philosophers (M. M. Baxtin) and psychologists (L. S. Vygotskij).
