	Résumé	Cet article s'attache à identifier ce qui permet aux étudiants membres d'organisations d'être mieux préparés que d'autres à s'exprimer en public en comparant des formations à la prise de parole organisées au sein de deux syndicats étudiants, l'Union nationale des étudiants de France (UNEF) et SUD Étudiant. Ces formations sont appréhendées comme un indicateur – parmi d'autres possibles – du façonnage organisationnel qui y est opéré sur les militants, c'est-à-dire de la façon dont des organisations distinctes produisent des socialisations et, partant, des manières d'agir et de penser, différentes. À l'UNEF, les formations visent à faire de chaque militant un porte-parole de l'organisation, tandis qu'à SUD Étudiant on apprend plutôt à se mouvoir dans les luttes comme un « poisson dans l'eau ». 	Résumé anglais	Training for public speaking This article sets out to identify what allows students who are members of organisations to be better prepared for public speaking than other students, by comparing the public speaking training that is organised in two student unions, l'Union nationale des étudiants de France (UNEF) and SUD Etudiant. This training is seen as an indicator – among other possible indicators – of organisational influence on members. In other words, it is a sign of the way in which particular organisations produce socialisation and, from that, shape different ways of thinking and acting. At UNEF, the training aims to make each member a spokesperson for the organisation, whereas at SUD Etudiant, members instead learn to flow through social movements like a “fish in water”.
