Résumé anglais Examining risk management in mountain areas through the vulnerability of tourist areas amounts to analysing governability in the face of risks or the ability to find appropriate solutions to deal with risk in a particular context. Faced with a multitude of often conflicting issues, mountain tourism areas are thus developing diverse types of risk governance. Vulnerability, considered as a consequence of tourism development, must be considered in its different and aggregate forms. The notion of governance will be used here as an analytical prism. It can thus provide a means for understanding the emerging local forms of public action in the field of risks and the are dealt with.
