Dans cet article, nous nous interrogeons sur l'intrication des trois termes « science », « technique » et « société », ainsi que sur l'importance qui est accordée à cette intrication aujourd'hui dans notre organisation sociale. Nous nous attachons à préciser les sens dans lesquels nous employons ces termes, dont l'usage prête souvent à ambiguïté. À cette fin, nous développons brièvement une approche historique où nous soulignons l'importance qu'il y a à prendre rigoureusement en compte l'idée que l'on se fait à une époque donnée de ce qu'on dénomme la nature. In this article, I examine the imbrication of the terms “science”, “technique”, and “society” as well as the importance ascribed to this imbrication in our social organisation. I focus on specifying the meanings I give to these terms, which are often used in ambiguous ways. With a view to this, I present a brief historical approach underlining how important it is to rigorously take into account the idea we have at a given time of what is labelled as ‘nature'.
