Là où la pression urbaine est la plus forte, l'agriculture est en marge. Elle ne relève plus vraiment du système rural de production territoriale, elle est trop en dépendance à l'intérieur du système urbain. Elle est menacée au sein d'un espace périurbain trop convoité. Le maintien d'une agriculture périurbaine passe par l'affirmation de celle-ci au sein d'un nouveau système territorial dont la cohérence tient à la place acquise par l'agriculture. Where urban pression is stronger, agriculture is on the fringe of society and territory. In that case, actually, agriculture is no more the concern of the rural territorial production system, for the urban system subordinates it too much. It is threatened in the midst of too coveted a peri-urban area.
