Résumé. - Les agences spatiales fournissent la position de leurs satellites avec beaucoup de précision. Mais l'utilisateur de données satellitaires ne possède aucune documentation sur l'échantillonnage temporel : quand, et sous quelles conditions, un point donné de la Terre sera-t-il vu par tel satellite, entre telle et telle date ?
Le logiciel IXION que nous avons réalisé, fournit, en plus de l'orbitographie, l'échantillonnage temporel pour tout satellite d'observation de la Terre, pour tout point de la Terre, avec notation des angles donnant, pour le point considéré, la position du satellite et éventuellement celle du Soleil. Abstract. - Spatial agencies provide position of satellites with a great accuracy. But user of satellite data has no information about temporal sampling : when and how a location on the Earth is seen by satellite, during a given duration ?
The IXION software, which we developed for application to any satellite, provides orbitography and temporal sampling : the time of each overpass is given, together with the positions of the satellite and the Sun (at the same moment), expressed as zenith and azimuth angles.
