| Résumé anglais | For a European writings of the history of Europe, Nicolas Roussellier. What if there was no European history? What if the 1989 break had changed the setting of any historic work on Europe? What if the topics for study could no longer be linked as lazily to the national situation alone? The autor shows the rhetorical traps of comparativism or subsidiary at all costs. He enunciates the inadequacies of a retrospective approach that flatters too easily european identity or civilization. He pleads for a totally new project of historic writing. | |
