"Totalitarianism", "anti-totalitarian revolutions", refusal of oppression, dissidence : the century's swing of the pendulum in "the east" in 1989 forces us to revisit these terms and concepts, from 1939 to 1980 via 1956. The author undertakes this reflection by basing his work on the notion of "civil resistance" of which he is the best advocate in France. | |
